Roller Door Specification Bespoke Roller Doors Staffordshire When measuring your own doors it is important that you
follow these simple easy steps. First you have to decide where you want the
door to be situated either externally, internally or in-between the two sides. You
also need to choose which door lath size you require and insulation sizes.
The Steps You Need To Follow
1.
Measure the width between the inside top left corner to
the top right corner
2.
Follow the same step but in the middle
3.
Follow the same step but at the bottom corners
4.
Then measure the height from the bottom left corner to the
top left corner
5.
Then follow the same in the right hand side
Make sure for accuracy that you do these steps a couple of
times to be sure of the exact measurements. If you find that one side is longer
than the other we can create something to solve this problem when you contact
us.
The final step is deciding on which side you
want the motor to be situated. This would be easier if it is close to a point
of electrical access, (socket) to choose this please stand inside your garage and look
out to decipher which is left and right.
Spacing Measurements
Before you can choose the colour you desire and finish we
need to know the measurements of the area around the garage door. There are
three different ways this must be measured based on where about your door is
situated.
Externally Fitted
Measure the space on each pillar from the
opening to the outside garage wall The headroom needs to be measured from the start
of the opening up to the highest point your door could go Please look out for obstructions, these can be security lights to wall lights to wall plants, when measuring please bare in mind that these may need to be moved, if you wish not to move these things then you should measure from these points so we can make sure your door is manufactured correctly.
In-between Fitted
No other measurements need to be taken
Internally Fitted
We need the measurements of how much space there
is on the inside of the pillars to the inside wall Do the same for the headroom measurement Please look out for obstructions, these can be sockets to light switches, when measuring please bare in mind that these items may need to be moved, if you wish not to move these things then you should measure from these points so we can make sure your door is manufactured correctly.
